CHILDRENS'S VILLAGES is a private non-profit organization that helps international youth,
interdenominational and independent of any political orientation. Its objective is to offer the children a comfortable family environment, a stable home and a solid
foundation to give them a promising and safe future; adopting a model of family of a universal character defined by social and cultural characteristics of every country.
CHILDRENS'S VILLAGES has been developing its work in Africa since 1971; assisting 645,000 children of all ages.
The participation in VILLAGES through the project A DIFFERENT DAKAR is motivated by bringing humanitarian aid to the young population of the "Children's Villages",
the location of which coincides with the route of the Rally
Each one of the villages is formed by a community of children and adolescents, led by a sister in the role of an educator and social workers.
The objective of A DIFFERENT DAKAR is achieving 4000 members and sponsors among a general audience in this sports competition and all of those accompanying us in our journey.
That way we can leave behind a sense of continuing help and not just those fifteen ephemeral days that the Rally lasts.
